Privacy

tachyon.video is published by VYV, the company behind TACHYON. VYV's privacy policy says what VYV collects about you, why, who else handles it, and how to exercise your rights. This page says what this site does.

Audience measurement

This site counts its visits with Matomo, installed on VYV's own server: the pages visited, and the links to other sites and the files that you click. It sets no cookies, and shortens your IP address before it records the visit, so that the statistics do not identify you.

The contact form

What you send through the form reaches the TACHYON team by email. The form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which loads only once you start using the form: Google then receives your IP address and information about your browser and how you use the page, and sets a cookie, _GRECAPTCHA. Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.

Support

The Support link opens the request collector of Jira, a service of Atlassian, which loads only at that click: what you write in it reaches our tracking tool, at Atlassian.

Refusing audience measurement

This choice applies to this site and this browser. If you refuse, Matomo no longer counts your visits from that moment, and a cookie keeps that refusal for 13 months after your last visit. Some browsers, including Safari and every browser on iPhone and iPad, can erase it after 7 days, sometimes sooner: come back here to check your choice. It also goes if you clear your browser's cookies, and at the end of a private browsing session.

Audience measurement does not load at the moment: your visits are not counted, and there is nothing to refuse while that lasts.
